About this program

The Disability Opportunity Fund is the first national community development financial institution (CDFI) created specifically for the disability community. DOF provides direct lending, co-lending, bridge and term loans, and pre-development, acquisition, and rehabilitation financing for businesses, real estate developers, and organizations serving people with disabilities. Loans are often offered at below-market rates with terms that accommodate the needs of low-income people and projects.

Eligibility

Businesses, real estate developers, communities, and organizations serving the disability market, including those creating access to housing, schools, employment, or other projects for people with disabilities throughout the United States.
