The Marietta Development Authority offers tax-exempt and taxable bond financing for qualifying businesses and institutional facilities, including sale-leaseback structures that may reduce local ad valorem tax assessments for approved projects.
Eligibility
Qualifying businesses, industries, institutions, and project sponsors locating or expanding in Marietta with eligible capital projects.
Requirements
- Coordinate with Marietta Economic Development and the Marietta Development Authority
- Provide project scope, investment, jobs, financing, real and personal property, and public benefit documentation
- Receive authority, bond counsel, tax assessor, underwriting, and closing approvals
