About this program
The South Carolina Closing Fund assists when additional funding is necessary to recruit or retain high-impact economic development projects in the state. Grants are generally awarded to assist with real property improvements, road improvements, infrastructure, or other approved project needs and depend on annual appropriations from the South Carolina General Assembly.
