Federal HOME funds for affordable housing through the Northern Kentucky HOME Consortium.
About this program
Covington is the lead entity for the Northern Kentucky HOME Consortium and uses HOME funds for affordable housing activities such as down payment assistance, affordable rental and homeownership production, and housing preservation.
Eligibility
Eligible nonprofit housing providers, developers, public agencies, and project partners with qualifying affordable housing projects in Covington or consortium communities.
Requirements
- Apply through the city or consortium HOME process
- Document eligible HOME activity, affordability period, income targeting, budget, and site control
- Meet HUD HOME property, income, rent, environmental, and reporting standards
