Downtown Houston+ offers facade improvement grants through the Downtown Redevelopment Authority to help property owners and businesses complete exterior repairs, storefront upgrades, signage, lighting, and historically compatible improvements that enhance downtown's economic vitality.
Eligibility
Eligible downtown Houston property owners or business tenants with approved facade improvement projects in the Downtown Redevelopment Authority area.
Requirements
- Submit grant application and project budget by the posted cycle deadline
- Receive approval before beginning eligible work
- Complete improvements and provide reimbursement documentation
