The SBA 8(a) program helps socially and economically disadvantaged minority-owned businesses in Texas compete for federal set-aside contracts, with no-bid contracts up to $4M (services) or $6.5M (manufacturing) and a 9-year program term of business development support.

Eligibility

Small businesses at least 51% owned by socially disadvantaged individuals including minority groups (African American, Hispanic American, Asian Pacific American, Native American). In operation at least 2 years. Owner's net worth under $850,000.
