About this program
The Michigan Business Growth Fund Loan Participation Program is an SSBCI-supported financing tool that partners with lenders to support Michigan projects when projected cash flow is considered speculative or when a lender needs a noncompetitive participant because of legal lending limits or portfolio concentration. MEDC may participate in a portion of a new loan to improve the financing structure for the borrower.

- Borrower must be engaged with a private lender for a new commercial extension of credit.
- Borrower must have no more than 750 employees.
