About this program
Kiva Greater Madison helps entrepreneurs and small businesses in the greater Madison region access crowdfunded microloans, with a focus on minority-owned and women-owned businesses and founders who face barriers to traditional financing.
Eligibility
Greater Madison and Dane County entrepreneurs and small businesses, including McFarland businesses, that meet Kiva borrower and trustee requirements.
Requirements
- Apply or connect through Kiva Greater Madison partners
- Prepare borrower profile, business story, loan use, repayment plan, and trustee endorsement if required
- Complete private fundraising period and public crowdfunding requirements
