Brattleboro has received federal economic development investment for critical infrastructure in its Qualified Opportunity Zone to support commercial development, job creation, private investment, and business growth.
Eligibility
Public-sector, nonprofit, and development partners with eligible infrastructure or commercial development projects in Brattleboro’s Opportunity Zone.
Requirements
- Coordinate with the Town of Brattleboro, BDCC, and relevant federal or state funding agencies
- Document project scope, public benefit, jobs, infrastructure need, budget, and compliance capacity
- Meet federal grant, procurement, environmental, reporting, and closeout requirements
