About this program
The City of Jonesboro may use CDBG funds for public facilities and public improvements that assist nonprofit organizations or public facilities serving eligible low- and moderate-income residents. Eligible activities may include rehabilitation of public facilities, neighborhood centers, senior centers, facilities for people with disabilities, utilities, streets, sidewalks, water and sewer facilities, parks, and shelters for people with special needs.
Eligibility
Eligible nonprofit organizations and public agencies with facilities or infrastructure projects serving Jonesboro low- and moderate-income residents may seek CDBG public facilities funding.
Requirements
- Project must be located in or serve the City of Jonesboro.
- Facility or improvement must be publicly owned or owned by a nonprofit and open to the public during normal working hours.
- Project must benefit at least 51% low- and moderate-income residents or a presumed low-income limited clientele population.
