About this program
Sacramento has used storefront and commercial corridor improvement programs to help small businesses and property owners improve building facades, signage, lighting, painting, and other visible upgrades that support neighborhood vitality.
Eligibility
Eligible Sacramento small businesses, property owners, and commercial tenants in qualifying corridors or program areas with approved storefront improvement projects.
Requirements
- Apply before beginning eligible storefront work
- Provide business license, property owner approval, project scope, cost estimates, and photos
- Complete approved improvements and submit invoices or reimbursement documentation
