CEI is Maine's largest CDFI and one of the few traditional lending organizations that will work with state-licensed cannabis businesses; CEI's mission explicitly focuses on underserved entrepreneurs and it does not categorically exclude cannabis businesses that are fully licensed under Maine law; $2B+ deployed since 1977; statewide offices; cannabis businesses must be fully licensed by OCP to be considered.

Eligibility
State-licensed Maine cannabis businesses that are fully compliant with all Maine OCP licensing requirements; businesses must be state-licensed and in good standing; loan purpose must be for lawful Maine business activities.
