Meriden's Information Technology Zone provides real property tax deferrals and personal property tax abatements for eligible information technology companies that locate into new or rehabilitated buildings in the designated IT Zone.

Information technology companies locating into eligible new or improved buildings in Meriden's IT Zone and property owners making qualifying improvements.
Requirements
- Confirm IT Zone location and project eligibility with Meriden Economic Development
- Submit the IT Zone application and building improvement details before claiming incentives
- Document eligible real property improvements, IT-related equipment, and occupancy requirements
