About this program
The City of Marietta administers Community Development Block Grant entitlement funds from HUD through its Community Development Division. Each funding cycle, up to 15 percent of CDBG funds may be allocated to public service activities and awarded to eligible nonprofit organizations through a competitive grant process. Eligible public service activities can include employment services, child care, health services, education programs, senior services, homeless services, fair housing counseling, crime prevention, energy conservation, recreation, and related services for low-income Marietta residents.
