About this program
Dutchess County's 2026 Veterans Microgrant Program provides one-time awards to local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and municipalities for projects and activities that enhance the lives of veterans and address unmet needs. Eligible projects may include veterans outreach, transportation, mental health and wellness, housing support, food security, social connection, and related services. Applications are accepted until funds are awarded.

501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and municipalities serving veterans in Dutchess County, including the Poughkeepsie area.
Requirements
- Operate as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization or municipality
- Serve veterans in Dutchess County
- Propose a project or activity that enhances veterans' quality of life or addresses unmet needs
