About this program
The City of Minneapolis administers Community Development Block Grant entitlement funds from HUD to support activities that benefit low- and moderate-income residents, address slum or blight, or meet urgent community needs. Eligible local activities can include housing rehabilitation, public services, public facilities, infrastructure, neighborhood revitalization, and economic development activities consistent with the City's consolidated planning priorities.
Eligibility
Eligible nonprofit organizations, public agencies, community partners, and qualified project sponsors serving Minneapolis residents or neighborhoods may apply when the City opens its CDBG funding process.
Requirements
- Project must serve Minneapolis residents or neighborhoods.
- Activity must meet a HUD CDBG national objective.
- Applicant must be an eligible organization or implementing partner under CDBG rules.
