Eligibility
Georgia veterans may be eligible for a certificate granting exemption from certain local government occupation taxes, administrative fees, or regulatory fees for peddling, conducting business, or practicing a profession or semi-profession.
Requirements
- Apply through the Georgia Department of Veterans Service.
- Provide proof of qualifying veteran status and Georgia residency or business activity as requested.
- Present the certificate to the relevant local government to request the applicable exemption.
