About this program
RiverSmart Rewards provides discounts on DC water and stormwater fees for property owners who install and maintain eligible stormwater management practices that reduce runoff.
Eligibility
Eligible residential, commercial, nonprofit, and institutional property owners in Washington, DC with approved stormwater best management practices.
Requirements
- Install or document eligible stormwater management practices
- Submit an application with site and technical documentation
- Maintain practices and renew or update certifications as required
