About this program
Buffalo facade grant resources provide incentives for businesses and commercial property owners to improve building exteriors, strengthen neighborhood commercial corridors, and retain businesses in the city. Eligible work can include signs, windows, doors, lighting, masonry, awnings, and other facade improvements.
Eligibility
Taxable businesses and commercial property owners located within Buffalo city limits with eligible facade improvement projects.
Requirements
- Property must be in Buffalo and meet program business eligibility rules
- Submit application, scope of work, contractor estimates, design materials, and property authorization
- Receive approval before beginning eligible work and submit documentation for reimbursement
