Eligibility
Eligible applicants are Montana businesses, individuals, or private contractors that meet SBA small business standards and are part of Montana's wood products industry or critical primary wood processing infrastructure.
Requirements
- Operate in, or be expanding into, Montana's wood products industry.
- Use loan funds for eligible business purposes such as working capital, equipment, infrastructure, land or lease costs, debt service, matching funds, or other uses that sustain and grow the wood products industry.
- Work with Commerce program staff or an approved participating lender to determine whether the request should proceed as a direct loan or loan participation.
