NMSDC MBE certification for Native American-owned businesses in Maryland through the Capital Region MSDC (CRMSDC), which serves the Maryland/DC/Virginia area; Native American is a recognized NMSDC ethnic minority category; as of September 2025 all certifications are processed through the NMSDC Hub directly; connects certified MBEs to procurement opportunities with 1,400+ corporate members; NOTE: Maryland has no federally recognized tribes and therefore no BIA programs apply.

Eligibility
For-profit businesses at least 51% owned, managed, and controlled by a Native American U.S. citizen in Maryland; enrollment documentation in a recognized tribe or documented Native American heritage typically required.
