About this program
WEDC's Community Development Investment Grant Program supports urban, small-city, and rural redevelopment efforts that produce measurable benefits such as job opportunities, increased property values, or leveraged local and private investment. Eligible projects may include destination attractions, underutilized building rehabilitation, infill development, historic preservation, infrastructure, and mixed-use development.
Eligibility
Eligible projects are Wisconsin community redevelopment projects led by or coordinated with local public and private partners that can demonstrate measurable community and economic development benefits.
Requirements
- Project must be located in Wisconsin and support community redevelopment.
- Project must be shovel-ready or ready for implementation.
- Applicant must demonstrate significant measurable benefits such as job opportunities, property value growth, or leveraged investment.
