About this program
The Maui Strong Fund provides grantmaking for immediate and long-term recovery needs for people and places affected by the Maui wildfires, with 2026 priorities including economic recovery, cultural and historic preservation, environmental and natural resources recovery, special populations, and housing.
Eligibility
Eligible 501(c)(3) organizations and fiscally sponsored charitable projects supporting Maui wildfire recovery; individuals are not eligible to apply.
Requirements
- Apply through HCF's grants portal or a posted Maui Strong Fund RFP
- Submit proposal, budget, fiscal sponsor documentation if applicable, recovery focus, and organizational materials
- Complete HCF review, grant agreement, and reporting requirements
