About this program
The Montana Board of Investments Infrastructure Loan Program provides loans to local governments for infrastructure improvements used by basic-sector businesses. The business supported by the infrastructure must create at least 15 full-time jobs, and the loan is sized based on the number of new qualifying jobs created multiplied by $16,666, with a minimum loan size of $250,000. The business pays a local government use fee that is assigned to the Board for repayment and may be creditable against Montana income taxes.
