About this program
San Diego Economic Development Funding Program allocates Transient Occupancy Tax funds through a competitive process to nonprofit organizations that promote San Diego as a business and tourism destination and support innovation, entrepreneurship, international trade, logistics, manufacturing, defense, and visitor economy goals.
Eligibility
Eligible nonprofit organizations providing economic development, tourism promotion, business attraction, retention, or targeted industry services benefiting the City of San Diego.
Requirements
- Complete annual RFQ and RFP funding process
- Provide eligible nonprofit documentation, program scope, target businesses, budget, and performance metrics
- Meet city contracting, insurance, invoicing, and public benefit reporting requirements
