Neighborhood Opportunity Fund
The Neighborhood Opportunity Fund provides grants for commercial and cultural projects on Chicago's South, Southwest, and West Sides.
About this program
Chicago's Neighborhood Opportunity Fund supports neighborhood-scale commercial and cultural projects in eligible investment areas by funding acquisition, construction, rehabilitation, and other project costs that create or expand local businesses and community amenities. Grants are competitive and reimbursement-based, with larger awards generally requiring stronger readiness, financing, and community impact documentation.

- Project must be located in an eligible Neighborhood Opportunity Fund investment area.
