About this program

Salt Lake City’s food equity work includes microgrant support for community-driven projects that improve food access, local food production, and neighborhood food resilience. Nonprofits, community groups, gardens, and small food initiatives may use the program when rounds are open.

Eligibility

Community groups, nonprofits, gardens, schools, and project sponsors with eligible food equity projects serving Salt Lake City residents.

Requirements

  • Apply during an open food equity microgrant round
  • Provide project description, location, budget, community benefit, and food access outcomes
  • Complete project and submit required final reporting
