About this program
The Bluegrass State Skills Corporation Grant-in-Aid program supports Kentucky employers that provide occupational or skills-upgrade training to current and prospective employees. Approved companies can be reimbursed for eligible training costs such as instructor fees, curriculum development, training materials, and other allowable expenses after training is completed and documented.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are Kentucky businesses and training consortia that provide eligible occupational, skills-upgrade, or job-specific training to employees or prospective employees.
Requirements
- Applicant must be a Kentucky employer or eligible training consortium.
- Training must be job-specific, occupational, or skills-upgrade training.
- Applicant must receive BSSC approval before training costs are reimbursed.
