About this program
The Rural Economic Action Plan Grant Program assists smaller Oklahoma communities with limited fiscal capacity by funding eligible water, sewer, transportation, public safety, health, telecommunications, economic development, and community infrastructure projects.
Eligibility
Eligible Oklahoma counties, towns, municipalities, public works authorities, school districts, rural water districts, sewer districts, and other public entities generally serving communities with populations of 7,000 or less.
Requirements
- Apply through the appropriate regional council of governments or OWRB process during the annual cycle
- Submit authorizing resolution, project scope, engineering or cost estimate, audit, and fiscal documentation
- Meet population, eligible project, ranking, and reporting requirements
