Bridges to Employing Youth
State-funded employment pathway for targeted youth populations in New Jersey.
About this program
Bridges to Employing Youth funds programs that help targeted young people prepare for employment through career services, supportive services, education, work readiness, and work experience. Deadline notes: Deadlines are set by NJDOL grant notices and provider enrollment timelines. Notes: Youth-focused funding goes to service providers, not directly to individual youth.
Eligibility
Eligible provider organizations may apply for funding; youth participants may include young people facing barriers such as justice involvement, foster care involvement, disability, pregnancy or parenting, homelessness, or other priority criteria described in the active notice.
Requirements
- Provider applicants submit the state grant application with program design, budget, eligibility strategy, staffing, partnerships, and performance plan; youth participants complete provider intake and eligibility verification.
