About this program
The Legend Fund is Indiana's SSBCI-backed loan participation program designed to increase access to business loans for Indiana entrepreneurs and small businesses, especially historically underserved businesses. Mission-driven local lenders manage loan terms and can make loans from $5,000 to $1,000,000 for small business operating capital needs while IEDC purchases a portion of eligible loans.
Eligibility
Eligible borrowers are Indiana-based small businesses seeking debt capital through participating mission-oriented lenders; eligible lenders include CDFIs, revolving loan funds, and other specialty lenders serving underserved entrepreneurs.
Requirements
- Business must be headquartered in Indiana.
- Business must seek financing through a participating Legend Fund lender.
- Loan request must generally be between $5,000 and $1,000,000.
