USDA-funded grants for Ohio agricultural producers and rural small businesses to generate new products, create market opportunities, and increase producer income through value-added activities. In 2024, USDA awarded nearly $1 million to four Ohio producers. Applications accepted annually.

Eligibility
Independent agricultural producers, farmer or rancher cooperatives, agricultural producer groups, and majority-controlled producer-based business ventures in Ohio rural areas.
Requirements
- Must be an agricultural producer in Ohio or rural small business
- Project must involve value-added agricultural production
- Must demonstrate how project creates new markets or increases income
