Self-employment planning and startup support for eligible New Yorkers with disabilities.
About this program
ACCES-VR may support eligible individuals with disabilities pursuing self-employment through counseling, business planning, occupational tools, supplies, licenses, and services tied to an approved employment plan.
Eligibility
Eligible ACCES-VR customers with disabilities whose approved vocational goal includes self-employment and who meet ACCES-VR service and financial participation rules.
Requirements
- Applicants must be found eligible for ACCES-VR, work with a counselor, develop an approved employment or self-employment plan, provide business planning materials as required, and document requested services and costs.
