About this program
The FY26 Capitol Hill Construction Impact Grant Program provides short-term financial relief to small businesses impacted by District Department of Transportation construction near Pennsylvania Avenue SE, Potomac Avenue SE, and 8th Street SE. Eligible businesses may use funds for documented operating costs such as rent, utilities, insurance, common area maintenance, mortgage payments, and other approved expenses incurred during the construction period.
Eligibility
Neighborhood-serving small businesses in the affected Capitol Hill construction area that can document eligible operating costs and construction-related impact.
Requirements
- Business must be located in the eligible Capitol Hill construction impact area.
- Applicant must be a small business affected by covered DDOT construction activity.
- Funds must pay or reimburse eligible operating costs incurred during the applicable construction period.
