Eligibility
Eligible employers hire individuals in WOTC target groups, submit required certification forms on time through North Carolina's administering agency, and meet minimum employment-period requirements.
Requirements
- Hire a qualified new employee from an eligible WOTC target group.
- Submit IRS Form 8850 and ETA Form 9061 or 9062 within the required certification window.
- Ensure the employee works at least 120 hours in the first year before claiming the credit.
