Equitable Energy Future Grant Program (CEJA)
Grants up to $1 million for equity-eligible contractors and nonprofits to develop renewable energy and energy efficiency projects benefiting businesses and communities in historically disadvantaged areas, with up to $34 million allocated annually.

Eligibility
Equity eligible contractors are businesses or nonprofits majority-owned by equity eligible persons: participants or graduates of CEJA workforce programs, foster care youth/alumni, formerly incarcerated individuals, or residents of R3 zones or environmental justice communities.
Requirements
- Must be majority-owned by equity eligible persons as defined under CEJA
- Projects must benefit historically underserved communities
- Must focus on renewable energy or energy efficiency
