Maine DECD Social Equity Program – LGBTQ Business Owners
Maine state law requires DECD to establish and administer a social equity program to increase workforce development and support businesses owned by members of impacted communities, explicitly including LGBTQ individuals; program provides support to LGBTQ-owned and other diverse Maine businesses; Maine DECD's Diverse Entrepreneurs resource page explicitly lists NGLCC as a resource for Maine LGBTQ business owners.

Eligibility
Maine businesses and entrepreneurs who are members of impacted communities as defined under Maine's social equity law, including LGBTQ individuals; the DECD social equity program targets underrepresented business owners across the state.
