About this program
Seattle's Building Decarbonization Grant Program helps eligible building owners reduce greenhouse gas emissions through building assessments, engineering work, electrification, energy efficiency, and other decarbonization improvements. The 2026 program is part of the Seattle Building Emissions Navigator and is expected to offer up to $4 million in grants for eligible buildings larger than 20,000 square feet in Seattle.
Eligibility
Owners of eligible Seattle buildings larger than 20,000 square feet, especially under-resourced or community-serving buildings, pursuing decarbonization projects.
Requirements
- Building must be located in Seattle.
- Building must be larger than 20,000 square feet.
- Project must reduce building greenhouse gas emissions or prepare for decarbonization.
