Eligibility
Idaho VR participants with disabilities may pursue self-employment when a VR counselor determines it is an appropriate employment goal and services are included in the approved employment plan.
Requirements
- Apply and be found eligible for Idaho VR services.
- Discuss self-employment with a VR counselor and complete any required assessment or feasibility review.
- Develop an approved employment plan and business planning documentation before any self-employment-related supports are authorized.
