TEDCO Seed Funds invest in seed-stage Maryland companies that show promise of becoming venture fundable or sustainable through customer revenue, follow-on funding, or corporate venture. Maryland's SSBCI allocation supports the Seed Funds, and applications are assessed on an ongoing basis through TEDCO's online application process. The SSBCI participating-program listing describes investment sizes from $200,000 to $750,000 for TEDCO seed investments depending on the funding source.
Eligibility
Stage-appropriate Maryland seed companies seeking investment capital and able to complete TEDCO's online application and diligence process.
Requirements
- Company must be stage-appropriate for seed investment.
- Company should have a Maryland connection and fit TEDCO Seed Funds investment criteria.
- Applicant must submit the online TEDCO Seed Funds application.
