About this program
Great Falls uses downtown tax increment financing to assist eligible redevelopment and public improvement projects that advance the urban renewal plan. Support can reimburse qualifying costs such as sidewalks, utility work, streetscape, public infrastructure, and improvements with public benefit.
Eligibility
Property owners, developers, businesses, and public partners with projects in an eligible Great Falls urban renewal or tax increment district.
Requirements
- Project must be located in an eligible district and align with adopted redevelopment goals
- Submit project description, budget, eligible cost documentation, and public benefit information
- Receive city review and approval before beginning reimbursable work
