Reno Tahoe's annual Special Event Marketing Sponsorship can support qualified annual sporting events that attract overnight visitors to Washoe County.

Eligibility
The principal producing entity of an annual event in Washoe County may apply if the event has a history of, or potential for, attracting overnight visitors and out-of-area marketing exposure; certain sporting events are expressly included as historically eligible examples.
Requirements
- Produce an organized annual event in Washoe County.
- Show the event attracts or can attract overnight visitors using two or more Washoe County lodging properties.
- Promote to out-of-market spectators or participants rather than primarily local residents.
